Newton's first law for a successful life

In this discussion let’s see how the Newton's first law helps us to get success in our career and in our life. We will see a fact that evolution of organisms and humans occurred through Newton's law!!!!!

Newton first law (Law of inerita):-

“An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external and unbalanced force. An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an external and unbalanced force”. [Source: Wikipedia]

Essentially, it makes the following two points:
1. An object that is not moving will not move until a net force acts upon it.
2. An object that is in motion will not change its velocity (accelerate) until a net force acts upon it.

In simple terms the law states that object will be at rest when no external force acts on it. Thus term Inertia comes into account. In simple terms, inertia is resistance to change. Let us think how this law applies to us and our success in life. In our real life, objects are humans. We will be at state of rest if no external force acts on us.

Thus a person tends to remain in state of rest unless some external force like supervisor or his previous bad experiences acts on him. Inertial force within us makes us to stay in a constant state without any improvement. Inertial force has to be overcome in order for the state to be changed. So if we want to get success in your career and in life, we shoould be prepared for the change.

The evolution of life occured (and occuring) because there is a constant need to change (eg:Natural forces). Homosaphiens (Humans) comes into existence because of our genetic material's decision to change for the betterment (Survival instinct) . Otherwise there will be only single celled amoeba and fishes roaming in the world. Though these changes occurred over the past million of years (because of slow learning of DNA), change concept is already embedded into us through our genes. We exist because of "CHANGE". Thus embracing change is one way of achieving success.

Hmm - nothing much to add at the moment. But, take a look at the book "Who moved my Cheese?" - this was my Bible to accept change. I did and it did make a difference - and since then I have been recommending this to a whole lot of folks I talk to - yeah, both change, and the book.....

Yes.I did it...Who moved my cheese changed my life too.. After reading it, i overcame by inertia to quit my previous job :). I also recommend to everyone..TAfter this, i become a fan of Change and propagating abt change and inertia....

Hi

In the last paragraph, you are contradicting to own core thoughts to accept the state of motion rather than motionless. What I Infer from the last paragraph is, the world and human are in the state of inertia only. If you refer about evolution, it is the external force on the world. I think you have choose a wrong concept of newtons law, say for example if a human changes he will succeed continuously similarly if he fails than he will fail continuously????????.

I will tell you one story for these two concepts of interia, we all know about the story of vinayaga and murugan. Consider the Gnanapalam as success. One tried with the motion(revolving around the globe) and the other tried with motionless(revolving around their parents). Finally the motionless succeeded. So Improvisation is more important than any other thing in the world.

Dae karadi.,

You finally confused medaaa...

Karadi,

Vinayaka was also roamingdaa..He just used "out of box" thinking..I consider him to be cool and a typical cost cutting guy....Not wasting the fuel by roaming around the world.. :)

Change! let me also follow balsu in line with balsu to change.say on change is indisputable.
Karadi's character haven't changed yet? what he is saying contradicts the statements.....its universal truth energy is constant(newton 3rd law) so energy has to be converted to another.fine, when u say motionless there is no net force acting on it.energy has to be transformed from one object to another, motionless is nothing but absence of force,it is evident that ganesh moved only bcos of some net force acted on him.to get the ultimate result of energy transformation(force) only the point in which the force acts matters.ganesh did it right.

I was also thinking on the same lines while pondering on success.
Being idle(motionless) builds up inertia and hence resistance to change. We can either move horizontally(being in the same company and growing) or vertically(quitting companies and joining other), the net result is success in either of the two cases!!

Success is possible in both the ways.

Vinayaka has got the Gnana palam and Murugan has got a temple at Palani. Both have been successful.

Good thinking daa NSS..I appreciate this..But anyhow you have to move..Muruga (hardworker and serious guy) moved his way up through Palani hills. He decided to quit his parental organization. Vinayaka just thought out of box.He stick to the same organization and got the prize.
